A Prayer Of Belonging

 God, thank you for pursuing me despite my wandering and failures. I am so grateful that You, Savior of the world, know my name. I belong to You and was created to know You. It is written in Matthew 18:12, If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? Deepen our connection and enrich our relationship, as I daily seek You.

 Prayer for pleasing God

God, thank You for loving me even when I get caught up in pleasing others. Sometimes I got so focused on what the world thinks that I forget I am not made for this world. In Matthew 6:33, it is written, "Seek the kingdom of God above all else and live righteously and he will give you everything you need". God, please refocus my heart and guide me to live for you even if the society tells me otherwise.

The Empty Pursuit Of More

 Dear God,

guard my heart against the endless craving for more. Help me find contentment beyond temporary possessions. For it is written in 1 Timothy 6:7 - For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. Help me to redirect my focus to seek Your kingdom and righteousness above all else. May my life reflects Your purpose and fulfilment.

Prayer to shine the light of Jesus Christ

Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for bringing God's mountaintop presence down to Earth. Thank You that this heavenly presence now fills every one of your followers. By the power of your Spirit, help me and my community live as the shining city on a hill, where heaven touches earth, so that many may experience the love, wisdom, and blessing of God.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Dear God, 

we humbly ask for the strength to forgive those who have wronged us. For the power of forgiveness is a beacon of hope. Release us from the burden of anger and resentment. Help us find the grace to let go of grudges and embrace forgiveness as a path to healing. We know that in forgiving, we set ourselves free from the chains of bitterness and we allow the light of love to shine through.

Dear Almighty,

grant us the strength and courage to overcome the challenges posed by our enemies. Help us rise above adversities and face them with resilience. As we confront oppostition, let your guidance be our steadfast compass. Lead us towards victory in conquering our own fears and doubts. With your support, we shall emerge from adversity stronger and wiser. Guard us with your loving shield. Surround us with your divine light and shield us from the negative energies that seek to harm us.

PRAY FOR UNITY

 Heavenly Father,

fill me with a spirit of unity. I want to be a uniter, not a divider with the people you had placed around me. Give me a tongue that speaks with understanding and compassion, reflecting your true love. Strip away my pride to "be right" and replace it with a heart of harmony.
