I have been staying in Italy for more than 10 years

Staying in Italy gave me more downs than ups. Hiccups are more than time for rejoicing. The only thing is the not too cold winter, lesser rain but definitely not the hot summer weather. 

Racism is in the air here. Friendly VS unfriendliness - it is the culture to assume a Chinese from Singapore to be from China (without even asking). It seems to be a negative journey so far. The best thing is to have a closer relationship to Jesus.

 The place I am staying in Italy is not a big city (close to Rome) that I wish to mention. It is only a sub-urban city without much amenities. There are a few Chinese and Japanese food restaurants opened by Chineses. There are indeed many Kebab restaurants and lesser local restaurants which I never visited. 

Basically, the food here is nothing that I fancy. Going to a nearby Chinese grocery shop is what I love to do.

I might be moving back to stay in Singapore for good instead of staying here any longer. I love to travel but sadly I never get to travel much when I am here in Italy. Thankfully, when I get to go back to Singapore over the past few years starting from Covid pandemic, I did traveled to Taiwan and Japan too.

Enough for today. This is the first time and hopefully not the last time I will write about my life in my Blog. (Will AI collect some of the information I have written?)

For it is written in 1 Timothy 6:7 - But we brought nothing into the world and we can take nothing out of it. Help me to redirect my focus to seek your kingdom and righteousness above all else. May my life reflect your purpose and fulfillment.

 God, thank you for pursuing me despite my wandering and failures. I am so grateful that You, Savior of the world, know my name. I belong to You and was created to know You. God, thank You for loving me even when I get caught up in pleasing others. Sometimes I got so focused on what the world thinks that I forget I am not made for this world. In Matthew 6:33, it is written, "Seek the kingdom of God above all else and live righteously and he will give you everything you need". God, please refocus my heart and guide me to live for you even if the society tells me otherwise.

we humbly ask for the strength to forgive those who have wronged us. For the power of forgiveness is a beacon of hope. Release us from the burden of anger and resentment. Help us find the grace to let go of grudges and embrace forgiveness as a path to healing. We know that in forgiving, we set ourselves free from the chains of bitterness and we allow the light of love to shine through.

grant us the strength and courage to overcome the challenges posed by our enemies. Help us rise above adversities and face them with resilience. As we confront oppostition, let your guidance be our steadfast compass. Lead us towards victory in conquering our own fears and doubts.  Heavenly Father,

fill me with a spirit of unity. I want to be a uniter, not a divider with the people you had placed around me. Give me a tongue that speaks with understanding and compassion, reflecting your true love. Strip away my pride to "be right" and replace it with a heart of harmony.
